§ 5.04.060. Transfer of ownership—Fee.

A.

Licenses and permits are personal privileges to the person to whom they are issued, but may be transferred by making application on forms provided by the city clerk. If required by the city clerk, a transfer request may require written proof of the assignment. All transfer of ownership applications should be filed within thirty (30) days of the sale or assignment of the business.

B.

A fee of thirty dollars ($30.00) will be assessed for each transfer of ownership application filed. Upon approval of the transfer application, a new license will be issued to be effective for the balance of the existing licensing term.
