§ 2.04.170. Required vote.

  • Unless otherwise provided by state statute, passage of an ordinance requires the affirmative vote of a majority of the qualified members of the governing body. All other matters require a majority vote of the members present at meetings. Passage of an emergency ordinance requires the affirmative vote of three-fourths of the qualified members of the governing body.
